How this works...

Register for the Speed Dating here. Once we have received your Registration Form confirmation of your registration will be sent. If we do not receive your Registration Form and Payment before the specified deadline (three weeks prior to the event), you may be added to our waiting list.
 

To ensure an even balance of men and women, event dates are not set until we have enough singles signed up. On the day of the event you must sign in at least 15 minutes prior to the actual start time. Feel free to mix and mingle with the other participants beforehand. We may also contact you a before the event if we receive a cancellation. Fee will be refunded or credit towards the next event will be given if this were to occur. No refunds will be given if you do not cancel 24hrs prior. Remember your dates are waiting for you.
 

At each event, there will be an equal number of men and women. We facilitate the whole thing so you are guaranteed to meet everyone. To maximize your experience, we hold the event at a local bar. We will give each participant a Welcome Pack, including a name tag (with your first name and a number only), a pen, and Score Card. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. We will review the ground rules a few minutes before the start time… you do not disclose your last name, where you live or work, phone number, etc. Nor do you ask someone out during the event itself. Remember no pressure! We ask that you keep your phones up during each date. At the start of the event, everyone puts on a name tag with only your first name and the number given to you. The event is organized so that you will chat, ask questions, and check out the chemistry with everyone in a string of one-on-one conversations lasting 3- 5 minutes each. At the end of the 3- 5 minutes, a bell will ring, and you will have 1 minute to fill out your “Score Card” as to whether you would like to see that person again in the future (yes). The men will then move to the next seat. The process continues until everyone has met. Halfway through there will be a short break where you may get a drink, stretch, etc. When all of the men have met all of the women, you hand in your completed “Scorecard” to the host. The event itself will last for about two and a half hours. You are then welcome to stay and mingle for a while, take the opportunity to meet other fabulous people who are there to meet others just like you, and learn more about upcoming Match ‘em Up with Kontrol Freak events.
